Voice over internet protocol or VoIP is a phone system for both incoming and outgoing calls using the broad band internet. This dispenses with the traditional method of calling. Static or buzzing noise- Analogue or electrical interference into the phone lines or phone is the probable cause for static or buzzing noise. Make sure the cordless phones are charged and do not have weak or worn out batteries in the handset. Switch channels on the phone to determine which is the best. Try connecting the phone directly to an IAD and see if the buzzing ceases.
